Five people who previously entered guilty pleas to driving under the influence were sentenced on Monday in Carbon County court.

Judge Steven R. Serfass imposed sentences on the following:Howard Eugene Wolfe, 56, of Saylorsburg, was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail followed by 59 months in the county's Intermediate Punishment Program with the first 60 days on electronic monitoring.He was also ordered to pay a fine of $1,500, render 100 hours of community service and his license was suspended for a year.The IPP program will be supervised by Monroe County.Wolfe was arrested on Sept. 4, 2015, along Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township by state police at Lehighton. A test showed 0.21 BAC.He also pleaded to driving under suspension and was fined $200 and costs.He will begin the jail term at 9 a.m. July 1 and serve it on consecutive two-day weekends.Jonathan Bruce Honey,25, of Lansford, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, pay a fine of $1,000, one year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service when released on parole.He was arrested on Sept. 11, 2015, along Bankway in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.On a driving under suspension charge he was fined $500 and costs.He will begin the jail term at 9 a.m. July 1.Tylar Allen Romanishan,21, of Palmerton, was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $1,000, one-year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service when released.He was arrested on Sept. 27, 2014, along Route 209 at Bridge Street in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance.On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, he was placed on probation for a year, concurrent with the DUI term.He will begin the jail term at 9 a.m. July 1.Glenn John Fisher,59, of Albrightsville, was sentenced to serve 30 days to six months in jail, a fine of $750, one-year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service.He was arrested on July 5, 2015, along Route 248 in Franklin Township by state police at Lehighton. A test showed 0.18 BAC.On a summary motor vehicle code violation he was fined $25 and costs.He will begin the jail term at 9 a.m. July 1.Jonathan Edward Anthony, 39, of Parryville, was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300 and render 25 hours of community service.A first offense, he was arrested on Oct. 27, 2015, along Route 209 in Franklin Township by state police at Lehighton. A test showed 0.23 BAC.Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000, a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole and follow all recommendations of their drug and alcohol evaluations.
