Bob Siesputowski of the Carbon County Navy Club is planning a Memorial Day weekend ride to show support for all veterans and especially for all the doctors, nurses, medical staff, first responders and those who have passed away due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He is seeking the help of other veterans for this event, which will be held on May 24, starting at 8 a.m. in front of the Lansford AMVETS.

Siesputowski said he plans on decorating his car and drive from the AMVETS, past the Legion and then onto Patterson Street. Then onto Nesquehoning, Jim Thorpe and back to Summit Hill.

He is asking for volunteers to join him in this parade of support. There will be no music or sirens, just the flashing lights on the vehicles and their decorations.
