The Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club held its annual Bunny Lunch at the Lehighton Recreation Center. At least 200 people were in attendance. All the children had the opportunity to visit the Easter Bunny and received a filled Easter basket. The Lehighton Area Leo Club sponsored games. Sponsors and donors for the event included Carbon Search and Settlement, Giant Food Stores, Jim Thorpe Neighborhood Bank, Mauch Chunk Trust Co., Just Born Candy, R.A. Ahner Furniture, Rapa Law Office PC and ReMax Real Estate/Pam Gothard. Assisting during the event were members of the Lehighton Area High School’s NHS members.
