The landlines at the Nesquehoning police station are back up and running.

Borough police Chief Sean Smith said Monday evening that the issues with the phone lines at the department have been resolved and are now operational again.The phone line problem was reported on April 21. At that time, it appeared that calls were being dropped after one ring.The borough decided to switch over the phone service to help correct the problem.Residents who need to get in contact with the Nesquehoning police for non-emergencies can now call the department at 570-669-9111.For emergencies, when minutes count, call 911.
