In action items Monday, Lehighton Area School Board:

• Approved graduation to be held at 7

p.m.May 27 in the high school gymnasium.• Approved a payment of $17,995.73 to Barry Isett and Associates for work on the multipurpose athletic stadium.• Approved payments of $33,091 to Quandel Construction Group, $3,700 to Barry Isett and Associates, $9,190.75 to JMSI Inc., $28,155.79 to EI Associates, $30,364.37 to Sargent Enterprises, $591,615.04 to Lobar Inc., and 1,595,183 to McClure Company for renovations to the middle and high schools.• Approved a payment of $110,718.17 to EI Associates for work on the proposed elementary center.• Approved a $137.50 occupational tax refund for 2015 to Terry L. Ahner.• Approved the Title I summer reading and math programs to be held at Shull-David Elementary School. Tentative dates are July 11- 29 for the math and August 1-19 for reading. Camps will be paid using Title I funds from 2015-16.• Adopted the 2016-17 capital and operating budget of Lehigh Carbon Community College.• Accepted an intent to retire notice from Barbara Kirsch, paraprofessional, effective June 1. Kirsch was hired Aug. 10, 1992.• Accepted the resignations of Kathleen Carreras, lunchtime aide, effective immediately; Mildred Shuck, part-time cleaner, effective March 18; and Floyd Brown, assistant supervisor of special services, effective at the end of 2015-16 school year.• Approved the hiring of Floyd Brown, full-time high school special education teacher at a salary of $60,707; and Delores Serfass, lunchtime aide at $7.25 per hour.• Approved affiliation agreements with Kutztown, Eastern and Gwynedd Mercy universities for the purpose of providing experiential learning for education students.
