The possibility of establishing the public library to serve Lansford, Summit Hill, Coaldale and Nesquehoning was brightened with information secured by Agnes McCartney, executive director of the Carbon County Planning Commission.
A meeting will be held tomorrow in the Carbon County Courthouse in Jim Thorpe. All interested citizens and civic leaders are invited and asked to attend.Mrs. McCartney has been meeting with members of the Summit Hill Woman's Club, actively engaged in seeking the establishment of a library for the PV area. The Lansford Woman's Club has shown an interest in the project, as has the Lansford Evening Record.
