ALLENTOWN (AP) - The coroner has identified a man fatally shot near an eastern Pennsylvania playground, an event which scattered children who weren't otherwise harmed.

The Lehigh County coroner says 39-year-old Carmelo Narvaez was killed by gunfire Wednesday afternoon in Allentown.An autopsywill determine the exact type of wounds he suffered.Allentown police responded and found the man dead shortly after 4:30 p.m.Another man, who is 23 years old, was wounded in his leg and upper back.Police Chief Keith Morris says police are also investigating a report that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle about the time of the shooting, but police wouldn't immediately confirm the two incidents were related.
