Despite winter trying to hold on to the area, the Borough of Lansford has scheduled street sweeping operations to begin next week. Streets scheduled to be cleaned will be posted one day in advance.

Any vehicles not moved from posted streets will be subject to ticketing and towing at the owner's expense.The schedule includes:Monday, north side of Patterson Street;Tuesday, south side of Patterson Street; Wednesday,north side of Ridge Street, both sides of Snyder Street; Thursday,south side of Ridge Street, both sides of Kline Street; Friday,north side of Bertsch Street, both sides of Water Street; April 18 - south side of Bertsch Street, both sides of Front Street; April 19 - north side of Abbott Street, east side of all hills; April 20 - south side of Abbott Street, west side of all hills; April 21 - Springgarden and Andrewsville streets.The schedule is subject to change, depending on work schedules and weather conditions.
