A former Jim Thorpe man died last Thursday after he was struck by a freight train in Scranton.

James Brozino, 64, died of multiple traumatic injuries when a freight train backing into the Crown Avenue tunnel near the end of Laurel Line Drive struck him at 10:56 a.m., according to a report this weekend in the Scranton Times Tribune.Lackawanna County Chief Deputy Coroner Jesse Van Deusen said an autopsy was performed late Friday afternoon and the death has been ruled accidental.The deceased was a son of the late John and Lena Brozino.He graduated from Jim Thorpe Area High School.His obituary appears on Page 4 today.
