A hearing for a former World Wrestling Entertainment diva has been continued.
Tamara Lynn Sytch, 42, of Palmerton, was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge William Kissner.A new hearing date has not been set.Formerly known as WWE Diva "Sunny," Sytch faces charges in a DUI-related crash.According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Cpl. Shawn Noonan of the Pennsylvania State Police:A 2008 Dodge Caliber ended up in a ditch at the intersection of Gun Club Road and Forest Inn Road in Towamensing Township at 10:40 p.m. June 20.Noonan talked to Sytch, who said her GPS told her to make a sudden turn.She said she took the turn too wide and ended up in the ditch. She said she tried to back the car out of the ditch but it would not move.Noonan said he detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and she also had glassy, bloodshot eyes and her speech was slurred.Sytch told Noonan she had been drinking earlier in the day.Noonan asked Sytch to perform field sobriety tests, but she said she was in too much pain due to her recently blacking out and falling down the steps.Noonan placed her under arrest for DUI and transported her back to the barracks for a breath test. The results of her test were 0.078 percent.Police said Sytch didn't have a valid driver's license in any state.She is facing charges from two other traffic stops: May 30 at 1:32 a.m. in Mahoning Township, and at 9:35 a.m. on June 1 in Towamensing Township.
