We think you'll find the stories easier to read and the headlines easier to see.The sections are better organized, and some of the type is a tad bigger.But we're not just a pretty face.We've chosen a new slogan: "Here for you."We might have a fresh design, but we have the same commitment to bringing you the news that we've always had.We're committed to covering the news in your hometown, with everything from how your taxes are spent to accomplishments of students in your neighborhood.Have something to say? We've redesigned our Opinion page to make it more lively and engaging. We always welcome letters to the editor, but we are also adding Facebook comments on local topics of interest.We've enhanced our Saturday business section and will be bringing you behind-the-scenes factory tours. Did you know there are more than 50 manufacturers in our area? We're going to detail them for you, beginning with Zimmerman's this week.The Lifestyle section is enhanced to encompass stories about the way you live - around themes such as trends, health, arts & entertainment and home, not to mention everyone's favorite - food. We are always taking ideas for stories on these topics. You can even share a recipe if you desire.Our Sports department is continuing its robust coverage of all local sports, but we've added more features and trivia, too.Our Neighbors is a relatively new feature dedicated to covering the people in our towns. We want to share stories of volunteers and hobbyists.We've been planning all of these can't-miss features while we've been upgrading our computer system. It's been a smooth transition, but we beg for your patience as we continue to progress.And we're not finished yet.
