Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters on Monday:

Human resources

• A five-year agreement between the Northern Lehigh School District and Adrienne Jackson, human resource generalist, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031.

Curriculum and instruction

• Affiliation agreement with Northampton Community College for a teacher preparation program. The agreement will allow Northampton County College students to complete required field experience hours within the district as part of their graduation requirements. The agreement is effective from Oct. 12, 2026, through Oct. 11, 2029.

Conferences

• Lauren Schuster, 2026 PaPBS & MTSS Implementers’ Forum, Nov. 4-5, Harrisburg, with cost of registration $105, and meals $120, for a total cost of about $225, to be funded through the Peters Elementary PD budget.

• Christina McShane, 2026 Pa PBS & MTSS Implementers’ Forum, Nov. 4-5, Harrisburg, with cost of registration $105, lodging $129, mileage $114, and meals, $120, for a total cost of about $468, to be funded through the Peters Elementary PD budget.

Policy

• The overnight boys wrestling team participation in the “War at the Shore” wrestling tournament in Ocean City, Maryland, to be funded through the district’s athletic budget, concession stand budget, and booster wrestling organization.

• Tracy Hoffman, helping teacher, for Maxine Hoffman, inductee, years 1 and 2, at a stipend of $800 per year, in the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program for the 2026-27 school year.
