State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Andrew P. Beil, 48, of Albrightsville, was cited following a two-vehicle crash at 3:11 p.m. Oct. 1 on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer that was struck by a northbound 2017 Honda Civic driven by Leslie J. Valdez Infante after the latter entered the interstate from an on-ramp, traveled into the right lane and struck the Explorer. Police said Beil left the scene but was later identified.

They said Valdez Infante was not injured. It is not known if Beil was hurt in the crash, police said.

• Andrew A. Kauffman, 38, of Lancaster, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 7:42 p.m. Oct. 1 on Summer Valley Road, East Brunswick Township. No one was hurt in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2003 Jeep northbound when he lost control of the Jeep, which entered the southbound lane and then hit a guide rail off the roadway. They said a 2009 Hyundai driven Gusta Bautista de Jesus, 36, of Hazleton, then made contact with the Jeep.

Police said both vehicles had minor damage.
