October 1, 1994 — Brett Snyder carries 23 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns to lead Northwestern to a 24-7 victory over host Palisades. Snyder gets the Tigers, coached by Bob Mitchell, on the board in the opening quarter when he reaches the end zone on an 11-yard run. He extends the margin in the second quarter when he breaks for a 41-yard dash. He caps his day, and Northwestern’s scoring, in the final frame when he adds a 6-yard tally. Tom Caamano, who recovers a fumble on defense, boots a 32-yard field goal. The Tigers’ defense registers five sacks, two by Jim Blewitt.
