Mark Thompson hauls in a 31-yard scoring pass from quarterback Pete Shanton in the first quarter to get the Indians, coached by Dave Parsons, on the board. The winners double their advantage in the second frame when Rob Hinkle intercepts a pass and, on the next play, Rich Bloom escapes for a 59-yard run to the end zone. Hinkle adds an insurance tally with a 2-yard TD run in the third quarter. The Indian defense stops PV twice inside the 10 to help earn the victory.
