The Panther Valley School Board hired the following spring sports coaches during its meeting Wednesday:

• Mark Lavine, head track coach, succeeding Trish O’Gurek, who resigned from the position in July. Lavine is also the school’s head football coach.

• Rich Evanko, renamed varsity baseball coach

• Mike Pascoe, assistant coach

• Johnny Byers and Jake Taras, volunteers

• Tara Yuricheck, head softball coach

• Pauline Romanowski and Roobhenn Smith, assistants

• Sydney Clouser, Fredrick Herling, Paul Frets, Jessica Matzen, Donna Malaska and Abigail Hoben, volunteer softball coaches
