State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following crashes that occurred on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 7 at mile marker 69.2 in Washington Township.

Police said Rebecca R. Donovan, 35, of Meshoppen, was driving a 2012 Honda Odyssey northbound when it struck the rear of a 2025 Freightliner tractor-trailer operated by Joshua O. Chavez, 25, of Norristown.

Police said the Odyssey had heavy front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

Donovan was cited for following too closely, according to police.

• Joseph S. Sileo, 61, of Clarks Summit, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 5:04 p.m. Aug. 16 at mile marker 82.9 in Penn Forest Township. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2021 Audi A5 northbound when he lost control of the car and it left the roadway, striking a concrete barrier on the shoulder.

The car had disabling front-end damage.

• Moderate damage resulted when an unknown object fell out of a trailer, striking the hood and windshield of a 2025 Volvo 850 at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 15 at mile marker 91 in Kidder Township.

Police said Deborah L. Stanton, 61, of Baldwinsville, New York, was driving the Volvo when the incident occurred. The other vehicle continued northbound.

Police said Stanton was uninjured in the incident.
