Every year, thousands of people get injured or killed in alcohol and controlled substance related crashes in the commonwealth. The Pennsylvania State Police is committed to making the commonwealth highways a safer place to travel on.
As such, police from the Frackville barracks will be increasing DUI patrols through Sept. 25. The patrols will include a sobriety checkpoint during the above time frame.
The increased patrols will look for operators under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and will take appropriate enforcement action.
The results of the increased patrols will be released after the reporting period has concluded.
