State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:
• Elijah J. Dunlap, 20, of Kunkletown, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 9:08 a.m. Aug. 28 on Jonas Road in Chestnuthill Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu south and was negotiating a curve too fast for conditions when he lost control of the car. It traveled onto the right shoulder and struck a tree.
The Malibu was towed from the scene.
• A driver and three passengers had suspected serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 2:54 p.m. Aug. 7 on River Street, East Side Borough.
Police said Erica L. Perez, 32, of McAdoo, the driver, and her passengers, two boys, ages 12 and 16, and a 7-year-old girl, all also of McAdoo, were taken to the Geisinger-Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
They said the crash occurred when Ovidiu V. Andras, 58, of White Haven, was operating a 2013 Volvo tractor-trailer south on River Street with its trailer taking up the north lane due to its brake locking up. That resulted in a 2021 Kia Soul operated by Perez striking the trailer as it rounded a curve, police said.
The Soul became disabled when it hit the trailer.
Andras was cited after the crash, according to police.
• Two people had possible injuries after a 2015 Hyundai Sonata struck a deer on Route 534 in Penn Forest Township at 5:55 p.m. Aug. 28.
Police said Joanna A. Withers, 44, of Albrightsville, the driver of the car, and a 16-year-old girl, also from Albrightsville, were not transported from the scene.
They said Withers was southbound when the deer entered the roadway in front of the car.
