A music-fueled fundraiser for the local American Cancer Society returns for its 27th year.

Zoostock will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday on the grounds of the former Sports Zoo, 390 W. Snyder Ave., Lansford.

Eight bands along with drinks, food and activities take center stage at the family-friendly Labor Day event.

“It’s more than just a fun day of music, food and friendship — it’s a chance for the community to come together for an important cause,” explained organizer and ACS volunteer Lisa Hiles. “Almost everyone knows someone who has faced cancer. By attending, people can have a great time while helping raise money in the fight against cancer.”

Bands scheduled to perform include Kyle and Ryan Dunkelberger, Yesterday’s Heroes with Eddie Collins, Hatter, Ricky and the Ricardos, Scratch Tape, The Throwbacks, Sweet Revenge and The Local Boys.

“We have a great slate of entertainment and all of the Zoostock favorite foods, beer truck and more,” Hiles said.

There will be adult beverages and food for purchase. Among the menu offerings are french fries, funnel cakes, bleenies, pizza, pierogies, kielbasa and specialty burgers and hot dogs.

Eddie “Mr. Ed” Collins, an area musician and radio host at WLSH/WGPA radio, will be the master of ceremonies. Children’s games and face painting will be on site. Event T-shirts will be available for purchase and include the saying, “Party Like It’s 1776.”

“Come for the music, stay for the fun and know that simply being part of Zoostock helps support a cause that touches so many of us,” Hiles said.

She thanked Tom Huber and Jason DeMarco, who took lead roles in organizing the 2026 event. Additional thanks was extended to the music committee, including John Frye and Tom Bartasavage.

“We are so very appreciative to all of our sponsors, supporters and volunteers who make Zoostock possible,” Hiles said.
