State police at Lehighton
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Daniel Cascioli, 60, of Effort, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a trespassing report at 6:42 p.m. Aug. 21 on Pohopoco Drive, Towamensing Township.
Police said the victim is a 53-year-old man from Kunkletown, with whom Cascioli had a physical altercation.
• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident on Bowmans Road, East Penn Township.
A 39-year-old Lehighton woman told police that between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 18 someone smashed the front driver’s side window of her 2011 Mazda3 while she was fishing nearby.
• Miscellaneous tools and outdoor products valued at $1,349.71 were reported stolen from a Jim Thorpe man from the exterior storage of his RV that he keeps at the Load and Lock Self Storage Facility, 130 White St., Weissport.
James Ehling, 60, told police the items were taken from his 2022 Rockford between June 18 and 29.
• A 34-year-old Kunkletown man was charged with simple harassment after police were called to a domestic dispute on James Lane, Eldred Township, at 9:16 p.m. Aug. 8.
Police said a 34-year-old woman from Kunkletown told them that her husband assaulted her. He was taken into custody at the scene, police said.
• Police were called to a theft at 6:19 p.m. Aug. 15 on Smith Road, Polk Township.
A 21-year-old woman from Kunkletown told police $600 was stolen from her personal belongings within the premises.
• Police said a victim of a theft came to their barracks at 8:56 p.m. June 6 to report the theft of a cellphone.
It occurred on Blue Mountain Drive, Lower Towamensing Township.
• A 48-year-old Philadelphia man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 2:09 a.m. Aug. 8.
He was stopped in a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu for Title 75 violations on Interchange Road, Towamensing Township.
• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident at 2:47 p.m. June 26 on White Street, Weissport.
They said the victim is a 53-year-old woman from Lehighton.
• A 39-year-old woman from Saylorsburg is the victim of a criminal mischief incident reported to them at 6:39 a.m. May 18.
She reported vandalism to her 2016 Mitsubishi on Meixsell Valley Road, Ross Township.
• A 42-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, was arrested on theft charges after police were called to the Woods Campground, Forest Street, Towamensing Township, at 12:18 p.m. Aug. 9.
Police said he attempted to leave the campgrounds without paying for services rendered to him.
• A 47-year-old man from Saylorsburg, was charged with stalking after police were called to a Protection From Abuse court order violation at 10:27 a.m. Aug. 8 on Meixsell Valley Road, Ross Township.
Police said the victim is a 41-year-old woman from Saylorsburg.
They said an indirect criminal complaint was filed with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office as a result of the incident.
