The 5th Annual Just Be You Children’s Festival will take place on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Lehigh Valley Zoo, bringing children, teens and families together for a fun-filled end-of-summer celebration.

Presented by Just Be You Academy & Performing Arts Conservatory, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to arts education and cultural enrichment, the festival is a one-of-a-kind community event designed to celebrate creativity, culture, confidence and individuality.

Under the theme “Going Wild for Creativity and Confidence,” this year’s festival invites young people to enjoy an exciting day of interactive arts and crafts, games, prizes and creative activities in the unique setting of the Lehigh Valley Zoo.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the fifth birthday of the Just Be You Children’s Festival,” said Mahogany Reynolds-Clarke, Festival Founder and Artistic Director. “This festival is about creating a welcoming space where children and teens can laugh, create, explore, make new memories and feel proud to be exactly who they are. We believe every child deserves opportunities to discover their creativity and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.”

The festival was originally scheduled for July 17 but organizers made the decision to postpone the event because of hazardous air-quality conditions associated with the Canadian wildfires.

Festival organizers are excited to welcome the community on the new date of Aug. 29, giving families another opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable end-of-summer celebration.

The Just Be You Children’s Festival was created to provide a warm, inclusive, creative and welcoming environment for children and teens of all ages.

Through hands-on activities and interactive experiences, the festival encourages young people to explore their talents, express themselves and connect with their community.

The 2026 celebration will feature: Arts and crafts, interactive creative activities, games and prizes, opportunities for children and families to connect and celebrate, a fun-filled festival atmosphere surrounded by the animals and attractions of the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
