A Lackawanna County man has died after his vehicle went into a retention pond across from Mount Airy Casino in Monroe County Wednesday evening.

The Monroe County Coroner’s Office pronounced John Radzikowski Jr., 82, from Dickson City, deceased on scene at 6:11 p.m. after the incident on Woodland Drive, Mount Pocono.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The cause and manner of the death are currently pending.

Pennsylvania State Police Stroudsburg is conducting their investigation into the incident.
