Cranberry Quilt Guild will meet on July 27 with doors opening at 6 p.m. Meetings are held at Faith United Church of Christ off Airport Beltway in Hazle Township.

This month’s meeting will be the annual indoor picnic.

Plans are being developed for a Quilt show to be held Sept. 19-20. Members are asked to support the mini quilt raffle and boutique with quilted items.

Tickets for a raffle quilt will be available from any member.

This year’s quilt show will feature ‘Turning of the Bed’. This is a showcase of quilts both antique and new. The quilts will be displayed as if they are laying on a bed and a short presentation will be read for each one.

All the traditional quilted items and vendors will be on hand along with a food court of luncheon items and a bake sale.

The last show had over 200 quilts exhibited. Also, Quilts of Valor will hold short and meaningful presentations. So far, the Cranberry Quilt Guild has presented over 90 quilts to worthy veterans both male and female.

The monthly fat quarter raffle color for July is Aqua. Members are reminded to wear their nametags to the meetings.
