C.M. Garcia-Cobian, 61, of Maspeth, New York, had minor injuries after a five-vehicle pileup at 4:59 p.m. June 22 on Route 611 in Hamilton Township, police said.

He was transported by personnel from the St. Luke’s Emergency and Transport Services to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus, Bartonsville, state police at the Stroudsburg barracks said.

They said the pileup occurred as the vehicles were southbound near Frantz Road when a 2025 Honda Civic operated by Martin J. Rosa II, 21, of Henrysville, struck the back of the 2017 Mini Clubman driven by Garcia-Cobian.

A chain-reaction crash followed, involving a 2025 Cadillac operated by Christian C. Sondergaard, 80, of Stroudsburg, a 2019 Honda CRV driven by Shakeya L. Isaac, 48, of Stroudsburg, and a 2014 Honda Odyssey operated by Deisys San Santos, 39, of Far Rockaway, New York, police said.

The Honda Civic and the Mini Clubman were towed from the scene, while the other vehicles could be driven away.

Rosa was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed, police said.
