Fire companies from New Ringgold, Orwigsburg and West Penn Township worked to rescue a woman Wednesday afternoon who was trapped in her vehicle after going down a 30-foot embankment. The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. about a mile north of New Ringgold along Route 443. Her vehicle went over a set of guide rails and down an embankment into a heavily wooded area.
