Carbon County 4-H has partnered with Northampton County this summer to offer several new day camps for children ages 5 to 18. 4-H is open to all young people regardless of where they live, what their backgrounds are or what interests them.

• Cloverbuds & More — A one-day camp to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 21 at 1749 Church Hill Road, Lehighton.

The camp is for children ages 5 to 10 from Carbon, Northampton and Monroe counties, and is a great way to introduce youth to the 4-H program and to learn what 4-H is all about.

• Carbon/Northampton Expressive Arts Day — Members between the ages of 5 to 13 are invited to attend this day camp focused on expressive arts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Lehighton Area Memorial Library, 124 North St., Lehighton.

Hands-on workshops will be focused on artistic topics and will be a fun opportunity for children who love to explore different forms of art.

There is no cost to attend the event. Registration is limited to 15 participants and is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Carbon & Northampton County 4-H Animal Science Day Camp — From 1 to 4 p.m. on July 31 will be an exciting afternoon of animal discovery.

Youths from 8 to 18 from Northampton and Carbon counties are invited to explore the fascinating world of animal and veterinary science through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Participants will take part in interactive workshops focused on animal behavior, communication, nutrition and care.

The camp will be held at Northampton County 4-H Center, 777 Bushkill Center Road, Nazareth.
