The Tamaqua Area High School will begin the process for student parking space selection for the 2026-27 school year beginning July 6.

Parking spaces are available to any senior or junior who has completed the required district drug testing registration, has a valid driver’s license at the time of selection and has submitted the parking space request form.

Parking spaces are chosen through a lottery selection with seniors receiving priority. There is a fee and only cash will be accepted. Money is due when a student receives the parking permit.

To be considered, eligible students must pick up and return the request form to the high school office before July 30. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays.

Students will be notified by mail if they win a parking space. Parking permits will be distributed from the office between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11.
