A Tresckow man has been charged with possession of various forms of narcotics.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Trooper Michael Wychock of the Pennsylvania State Police, Eastern Intelligence Unit, in the case against Edwin Vazquez:
On June 16, investigators with the Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant, where inside the residence troopers detained Vazquez, 33, and Brooke Erbe.
Trooper Michael Thomas conducted the search of the residence, which resulted in the finding: 217 grams of suspected methamphetamine; 110 grams of a white powdery substance, which is suspected fentanyl but was not tested due to the risk of exposure; 11.8 grams of cocaine; 12 dosages of Suboxone and drug paraphernalia.
Vasquez faces charges of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, intentional possession of controlled substance by person not registered, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is currently incarcerated in the Carbon County Prison, with his request for bail denied, and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on July 1 before District Judge Joseph D. Homanko Sr. of Weatherly.
