Frank Golden, a longtime health care professional and community advocate, has officially announced his candidacy as an Independent candidate for the United States Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District.

Golden said he brings decades of real-world experience serving the community through health care and public service. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with individuals and families facing challenges involving health care access, mental health services, addiction, and economic hardship.

“I’m not a career politician,” he said. “I’m someone who has spent my life working directly with people and seeing firsthand the struggles many families are dealing with every day. I believe our communities deserve practical solutions, accountability, and leaders who actually listen.”

As an Independent candidate, Golden said his campaign will focus on:

• Affordable and accessible healthcare;

• Mental health and addiction resources;

• Support for working families and small businesses;

• Protecting individual freedoms and constitutional rights;
