State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• Two juveniles were removed from a Washington Township residence and served Involuntary Mental Health Commitment warrants following an incident at 3:46 p.m. June 10.

Police said they were summoned to the Main Street residence to assist personnel from Lehigh County Children and Youth Services and Lehigh County CRISIS with the situation. Joining police from the Bethlehem barracks were officers from the Fogelsville barracks and the Slatington Police Department.

Police said the juveniles were removed from the residence safely and served the warrants without incident. They said a firearm was confiscated from the residence at the time.

• Police responded to an attempted burglary at 12:14 a.m. May 6 at the New Tripoli Pizza business at 6391 Route 309, Heidelberg Township.

They said someone attempted to enter the business by forcing open the front door with an unknown object but fled the scene before gaining entry.
