Jim Thorpe Area High School FBLA is collecting donations for their Chemotherapy Packages/Patient Care Packages project called Be The Help.
Be The Help has donated more than 300 packages to St. Luke’s and Lehigh Valley Health Network. At the Jim Thorpe Area High School the project’s founder, Noelanie Sepulveda, presented a $500 scholarship to Cole Harwood as a way to honor her grandmother who passed from Lymphoma and give back to the community that donated so much to the packages.
Donations that are accepted are as follows:
• Monetary donations
• Fluffy socks
• Coloring books
• Crayons
• Word searches
• Gum
• Candy
• Books
• Toys
• Stress balls
Four organizations will be hosting package donation centers to make donating easier:
• Penn Kidder Dimmick Memorial Library, 2588 State Route 903, Albrightsville.
• Mt. Pocahontas Property Owners Association, 386 E Old Stage Road, Albrightsville.
• Holiday Pocono, 2428 State Route 534 West, Albrightsville; gated, let security staff know you are dropping off a donation.
• Indian Mountain Lakes Clubhouse, 95 Highridge Road, Albrightsville; gated, let security staff know you are dropping off a donation)
