Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:
• Scheduled a public hearing for 5:30 p.m. July 8 regarding proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance addressing distribution/fulfillment centers, truck terminals, warehouses and solar power generation ordinance.
• Approved request of escrow release to Federal Credit Union in the amount of $42,648.
• Executed the Mahoning Valley Fire Company license agreement.
• Agreed to switch the police pension actuarial services to PSATS.
• Decided not to join the Carbon County Council of Governments.
• Appointed Mark Schwalm to the Carbon County Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee.
• Adopted an ordinance amending a section of the handicapped parking ordinance.
• Adopted a resolution for a fee schedule pertaining to handicapped parking.
• Approved a handicap parking sign request from Kevin Maehrer at 114 Jamestown Road.
