Palmerton graduate Mikayla Pengelly recebtly completed her freshman season as a member of the Chestnut Hill College softball team.
The former Blue Bomber standout played in 29 of the Griffins’ 32 games, starting in 27 of them.
Pengelly hit .221, collecting 17 hits in 77 at-bats. She also walked 11 times and was hit twice to finish with a .333 on-base percentage. Four of her hits were doubles, while she scored 13 times and added 11 RBIs.
She also led the team with four stolen bases (in four attempts).
Seton Hill ended the season with a record of 5-27.
