Tianling Guo, 29, of Carteret, New Jersey, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:29 p.m. May 31 at the intersection of Route 209 and Beaver Valley Road, Hamilton Township, police said.

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said that Guo was driving a 2008 Infiniti EX35 north on Route 209 when he attempted to make a left turn onto Beaver Valley Road, where he confronted a blocked gate because the road is not an exit at that point.

They said Guo swerved to avoid the gate but the Infiniti hit a guide rail and sustained disabling front-end damage.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
