June 5, 2010 — A number of area baseball players participate in the Howard E. Deppe All-Star Classic held at Limeport Stadium. Northern Lehigh’s Joe Seremula pitches two scoreless innings and goes 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and a run for the Red Squad, which rallies from a 10-1 deficit only to come up just short and drop a 10-9 decision. Northwestern’s Dalton Conway and Colton Breininger both finish 2-for-5, while the Tigers’ Nate Kester scores a run and pitches two scoreless innings. Kester also finishes second in the event’s Home Run Derby. Nolehi’s Joe Dugan adds a hit and a run.
