LGBTQIA+ PRIDE Festival returns to Poconos on Sunday

The Pocono Mountains is set to celebrate diversity and inclusion once again as the Pocono PRIDE Festival returns to Courthouse Square in Stroudsburg on Sunday.

Coinciding with Pride Month, this vibrant event will run from noon to 5 p.m., offering a full afternoon of fun, food and entertainment.

Organized by the local LGBTQIA+ community and their allies, the Pocono PRIDE Festival aims to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where individuals from all walks of life can come together to celebrate love, acceptance and unity.

The festival’s lineup is packed with exciting activities and performances. Attendees will be treated to dazzling drag show performances, live music and talented solo performers, all taking the stage to showcase their artistry and spread the message of love and acceptance. Local performers from across the region will have the opportunity to shine, with the festival continuing its commitment to supporting the arts and creating platforms for creative voices in the Pocono community.

Beyond the entertainment, the festival will feature food vendors, craft vendors, and a wide array of community organizations offering LGBTQIA+ resources and information.

Accessible restrooms and a quiet space will be available for anyone who needs them. The main stage will have ASL Interpreters from Inclusive Communication Services.

The event is held rain or shine.
