Chase Llewellyn’s pitching helped Franklin Township win its third straight game, defeating South Parkland on Monday.

A strong pitching performance by Chase Llewellyn helped Franklin Township gain an 8-1 victory over visiting South Parkland.

Llewellyn struck out 12 in six innings of work, and allowed just two hits, three walks and one earned run.

Brock Atwood and Parker Rodgers both finished with multiple hits for the winners. The players each added a run scored and an RBI.

FT’s Braylon Hunsicker also scored two runs.

No. Lehigh

Northern Lehigh out-hit visiting East Stroudsburg, but it wasn’t enough as it dropped a 7-6 decision.

Avery Kabrick and Pablo Rivera hit back-to-back RBI triples to key a three-run first for Northern Lehigh, while Rivera stole home on an attempted double steal to cap the scoring that inning.

But after that, a four-run third for East Stroudsburg erased the lead.

Kabrick led Northern Lehigh with two singles, two triples, two runs scored and two RBIs, while Jayden Weaver chipped in with two singles and two runs. Weaver also swiped four bases.

A nine-run second inning helped lift Forks Township to a 15-1 victory over Northern Valley.

The winners made the most of four walks and three NV errors in the second.

Domenic Crisci struck out eight and walked one for Forks.

The Chargers’ Mason Malosh finished with two singles, while Calvin Kulp and Jacob Spatz accounted for the team’s other hits.

Northampton-Saylorsburg

Northampton rolled to a 14-0 victory over host Saylorsburg.

Ty Rutzmoser opened the game with an inside-the-park home run. The Northampton leadoff hitter finished with two walks, a homer, three runs scored and two RBIs.

The winners also received a hit and three RBIs from Braxton Bigelow.

Jackson Walters and Carter Knight accounted for the Saylors’ two hits. Walters led off the bottom of the first with a single, while Knight registered the other hit in the fourth.

Lehigh White-Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe’s late inning rally fell short as Lehigh White escaped with an 8-6 victory.

Trailing 8-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Thorpe put together a four-run inning behind four walks, a passed ball, and two hits.

Jaxon O’Shura’s two-run single capped the scoring, while Daniel Off chipped in with an RBI single in the frame.

Off finished with three singles, a run scored and an RBI.

Jionni Puddu (two singles, RBI) and O’Shura (two singles, three RBIs) each contributed multiple hits.

The Birches exploded for seven first-inning runs and cruised to a 14-4 win over East Stroudsburg in its season opener.

Christian Knight had an RBI single in the first, while walks and hit batters also forced in runs.

Ian Campbell finished with a hit and three RBIs for the Birches, while Gavin Bates added a hit, three runs and an RBI.

Ty Borger tossed four innings and struck out four to earn the win.
