Local Roundup: Results from May 30-31
Franklin Township’s Senior and Junior Connie Mack teams both recorded weekend wins.
The two clubs posted victories on Saturday, while Northern Lehigh also registered a win in senior action.

Franklin Twp.-Silver Creek
Logan Bellis had four RBIs to help spark Franklin Township to a 12-0 victory over Silver Creek.
Bellis delivered a two-run single in the first, added a fielder’s choice RBI in the second and then a run-scoring single in the fifth.
Cash White and Brayden Ulshafer both contributed a single and a double. White also scored two runs.
Luke Haydt pitched a five-inning one-hit shutout, striking out four.

No. Lehigh-Northern Valley
Northern Lehigh outscored Northern Valley 14-11 to earn its first win of the season.
Cole Mohrey, Pablo Rivera and Drew Mohrey all finished with three hits for the winners.
Rivera had a double among his hits and collected four RBIs. C. Mohrey also had a double and scored four runs.
The winners also received a triple and four RBIs from Avery Kabrick.
Calvin Kulp paced the Chargers with three singles and four runs, while Mason Malosh recorded three singles and two runs. Cole Hausman also finished with two hits and three RBIs.

Franklin Twp.-Nazareth
A five-run seventh inning allowed Franklin Township to pull out a 10-7 victory over Nazareth.
The winners used four walks and three hits in the top of the seventh to gain the comeback win. Owen Moyer’s RBI double and Myles Meek’s two-run single sparked the rally.
Moyer finished with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBIs.
Meek added a hit and three RBIs, Roman White ended with a hit and two runs, while Alex Kish walked three times and scored two runs.

Jim Thorpe-FBT Gray
Jim Thorpe couldn’t hold an early lead and ended up dropping an 8-6 decision to FBT Gray.
Thorpe took advantage of six walks in the top of the second to score four runs and move ahead. Jackson Engelbert had a hit and scored a run during the inning.
Carter Reis delivered an RBI single in the fourth as the lead swelled to 6-2, but a six-run sixth by FBT Gray proved to be the difference.
Engelbert and Zach Fougere both finished with a pair of hits for Thorpe.

Lehigh Township scored four runs in the sixth inning to send Northern Valley to an 8-6 defeat.
The Chargers ended up out-hitting their opponent with Mason Malosh and Cam Petrucelli both collecting a pair. Malosh also knocked in a pair of runs.
Liam Sensinger also chipped in with a hit, two runs and an RBI.

Southern Lehigh jumped out to a big lead and held on for a 10-5 victory over Northern Lehigh.
Anthony Kabrick finished with two hits and two runs for Nolehi, which ended up out-hitting the winners.
Rhys Regan and Andrew Stettler both collected two hits, a run and an RBI, while Chase Roberts ended with a pair of hits and knocked in a run.

Palmerton-N. Bethlehem
Parker Chambers and Carter Duarte combined on a five-inning no-hitter as the North Bethlehem Rebels shut out Palmerton 10-0.
Chambers went the first 4 1/3 innings, striking out five. Carter Duarte recorded the final two outs.
Zenobius Hernandez and Thomas Seifert both had two hits and scored two runs for the winners.
Cade Serfass had a walk and stole a base for the Bombers.
