Pennsylvania State Police have released details on a shooting incident at Wawa in Brodheadsville Friday night.

Police said at 9:53 p.m., the Pennsylvania State Police Fern Ridge Station was called to the Wawa Convenience Store, located at the corner of routes 715 and 209.

Through investigation, it was determined that several people engaged in an argument which then turned physical.

During the fight, one person involved fired one round from a firearm.

The person struck was transported to a local medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries.

This is an isolated incident, and there is no immediate threat to the public and surrounding communities.

The investigation remains active by the Pennsylvania State Police Fern Ridge Criminal Investigation Unit.
