MONTHLY CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
• Nature Club, 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Open to all students in grades K through 6. Each meeting begins in an official session where children discuss and vote on club business, with hikes, games, and other nature-oriented activities to follow. Programs are free for members, and a per-child donation is requested of nonmembers. Meetings will be held June 18, July 16 and Aug. 20.
Acrylic Art Pour
Participants let their creativity “flow” in Jeannie Carl’s favorite repeat art session, an acrylic art pour.
Join Carl at 10 a.m. Saturday at the center. All materials supplied to create one free-flowing acrylic work on canvas. The process must take place outdoors, so a raindate will be set if necessary.
Call for details on cost and to register, or email Jeannie at carbnat@ptd.net. Space is limited.
Art Class with Jean Perry: Landscapes
Local artist Jean Perry will hold a session at 10 a.m. on May 30 on landscapes.
All art materials and references will be provided for a fee, though participants are invited to bring their favorite photos for inspiration.

Summer Plant Walk
Volunteer Naturalist Michael Blacketter leads another of his popular plant walks at 1 p.m. on June 14. Participants will note native tree species, as well as mosses, ferns, and flowers.

Each day features a different nature theme, with topics to be announced.
Open to children entering grades K through 6, with preregistration a must. There is a fee per camper for the week, payable in advance.
