Shannon C. Desilva, 20, of Kunkletown, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:42 p.m. April 22 on Route 209 in Hamilton Township, police said.

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said that Desilva was driving a 2023 Mazda CX90 north when a deer entered its path and was struck.

Police said that Desilva was able to safely pull the vehicle onto the right shoulder of the road.
