State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police said they were contacted on behalf of PPL Electric Utilities and told that an employee had sent an email to the company describing threats made by a customer during a shutoff notice home visit.
The incident occurred at 9:30 a.m. April 4 at the intersection of Forest Street and Temple Court, Polk Township, police said. The victim of harassment was listed by police as a 46-year-old woman from Tobyhanna.
• Police are investigating a theft by deception/identity theft incident that occurred at 6:37 p.m. May 11.
Police listed the incident as occurring on Camellia Drive, Polk Township, and victim as a 30-year-old Kunkletown man.
• Tiffany Rex, 32, of Lehighton, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic disturbance on White Street in Weissport at 7:48 p.m. May 11.
Police said the victim is a 51-year-old Weissport woman.
They said the two engaged in a verbal argument regarding a child custody order, which escalated when Rex struck the woman in the face and pulled her hair.
