Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus leads the entertainment highlights coming to local and regional venues over the next two weeks.

Billed as “The Greatest Show on Earth,” the circus features aerialists, acrobats, world dance, music and comedy. The show, though no longer featuring live animals, includes a robot dog named Bailey Circuit.

The Mahoning Drive-In Theater, meanwhile, welcomes actress Caroline Williams to a screening of 1986 cult classic “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2,” in which she plays DJ Stretch. The Mahoning also holds its 12th ZombieFest, with actresses Adrienne Barbeau and Lynn Lowry appearing.

Over in Stroudsburg, actor Chazz Palminteri brings his one-man show “A Bronx Tale” to the Sherman Theater. Palminteri wrote and starred as mob boss Sonny in Robert De Niro’s 1993 film adaptation.

• Live Wire, 8 p.m. Friday. The act performed a tribute to AC/DC, taking its name from the Australian rock band’s same-titled 1975 song.

• The Castaway Band, 6:30 p.m. May 28. The Summer Deck Parties series begins with The Castaway Band, which plays classic rock, modern country, trop rock and dance music from past decades.

• The Breakers, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The act performs the music of rock band Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.

• GA-20, 8 p.m. May 22. Formed in 2018 in Boston, the blues band released its eighth album “Orphans” in late 2025. GA-20, named after a Gibson-manufactured guitar amplifier, released its latest single “Crazy Love” on April 30.

• Get Poison’d, 8 p.m. May 23. The act pays tribute to rock band Poison.

• Dan Wilkins Quartet, 7 p.m. Friday. Wilkins, a saxophonist and composer from the Emmaus/Macungie area, has recorded albums with father Skip and various ensembles. Wilkins’ recent album releases include 2024’s “Moonglow” and 2025’s “Oceans Beyond the Sky.” The quartet also features Jon Ballantyne, Sam Harris and Byron Landham. Wilkins, who maintains a private studio for musicians, teaches collegiately at various area colleges and universities.

• Josh Lawrence Quartet, 7 p.m. May 22. Lawrence, a trumpeter and composer, has recorded solo albums and albums with the Fresh Cut Orchestra. The musician, whose most recent album “Still We Dream” arrived in 2025, has contributed to recordings by artists such as Erykah Badu and Boyz II Men.

• Shock Stock-Up Horror Show, 5 p.m. Sunday. The theater will screen Tobe Hooper’s 1986 film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2,” with star Caroline Williams in attendance. In the sequel to 1974’s “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” Williams plays radio DJ Vanita “Stretch” Brock, who receives an unexpected visit from Leatherface (Bill Johnson) and Chop Top (Bill Moseley). Showtime at sundown.

• ZombieFest XII, May 21-24. Exhumed Films and the theater present the 12th ZombieFest, set to include 10 films, plus a matinee double-bill at the Gap Theatre in Wind Gap. Two horror queens will attend events at the drive-in: Adrienne Barbeau on May 21 and 22, and Lynn Lowry on May 23. Mahoning will screen four Barbeau-starring films, including 1981’s “Escape From New York” and 1980’s “The Fog,” and three Lowry-starring films, including 1973’s “The Crazies” and “1975’s “Shivers.” Gates open at 6 p.m. May 21 and 24, and 5 p.m. May 22 and 23. Showtime at sundown.

• Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, May 21-24, seven shows. The traveling circus, which toured for 100-plus years, relaunched as an animal-free show in 2023 following a six-year hiatus.

The spectacle features attractions such as the Double Wheel of Destiny, a criss-cross flying trapeze, the World’s Craziest Unicycle, The Ringling Rocket and other extreme stunts.

• Lorna Shore, 7 p.m. Saturday. Formed in 2009 in New Jersey, the deathcore band released its debut studio album “Psalms” in 2015. Lorna Short’s fifth studio set arrived in September 2025.

• Night Ranger, 8 p.m. May 22. Formed in San Francisco in 1982, the rock band has 13 studio albums to its credit, with its most recent, “ATBPO,” out in 2021. Night Ranger’s hit singles include “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” “Sister Christian,” “Sentimental Street” and “Goodbye.”

• SangriaFest, 2 p.m. Saturday. The event includes samples of 12 different sangrias, live music, games and food vendors. The Big Wahu Caribbean Band and The Philadelphia Funk Authority will perform.

• Freddy Awards Preview Night, 4:30 p.m. May 20. The event includes the live-television dress rehearsal for the 2026 Freddy Awards, with performances from nominees before they air to the public.

• The Hu and Apocalyptica, 7 p.m. Friday. Formed in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, The Hu perform folk metal, calling its style of music hunnu rock. The band has two albums to its credit: 2019’s “The Gereg” and 2022’s “Rumble of Thunder.” Formed in 1993 in Helsinki, Finland, symphonic metal band Apocalytica has released 10 studio albums. The group’s hits include “I Don’t Care,” featuring Three Days Grace’s Adam Gontier and “End of Me,” featuring Bush’s Gavin Rossdale.

• Lez Zeppelin, 8 p.m. Saturday. The female quartet, formed in 2004, will perform English rock band Led Zeppelin’s 1976 film/soundtrack “The Song Remains the Same.” Lez Zeppelin will play classics such as “No Quarter,” “Dazed and Confused” and “Stairway to Heaven.”

• “A Bronx Tale,” 8 p.m. May 28. Chazz Palminteri, born in the Bronx, New York, wrote his one-man play “A Bronx Tale” in 1988. The show depicts Palminteri’s bruising childhood in the 1960s. In “A Bronx Tale,” local mob boss Sonny takes Calogero under his wing after the boy witnesses a murder. Adaptations include a 1993 film and a late-2010s Broadway musical. Palminteri, with numerous TV and film credits, received a supporting actor Oscar nod for 1994’s “Bullets Over Broadway.”

• Vic DiBitetto, 8 p.m. Saturday. Born in Brooklyn, New York, the comedian/actor first performed stand-up 40-plus years ago. DiBitetto, who has achieved success with his thousands of YouTube videos, released his first album, “Working Class Zero,” in 2020.

• “The Kitchen Witches,” May 23-June 7. Caroline Smith wrote the comedic play, in which “mature” cable-access cooking show hostesses Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle have hated each other for 30 years, since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other. Circumstances bring the two together on the TV show “The Kitchen Witches,” with Dolly’s TV-producer son Stephen trying to keep them on track.
