State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police are investigating three separate incidents that were reported through the ChildLine network.
One was reported to have occurred at 10:13 a.m. April 13 on Silver Maple Road, Chestnuthill, and involved an 8-year-old boy from Effort. Police labeled the incident an assault causing bodily injury.
The second report, which came in at 1:34 p.m. April 22, indicated a harassment by physical contact incident took place on Gilbert Road, Chestnuthill Township, involving a 15-year-old girl from Kunkletown.
The third case, a harassment, involved a 13-year-old Nazareth boy and occurred at 2:02 p.m. April 13 on Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township.
• Police said two people were found to be in possession of multiple firearms when they are not eligible to possess them.
It occurred at 11:47 a.m. Jan. 13 at 23 Lenape Trail, Penn Forest Township.
• A 64-year-old Stroudsburg woman reported a theft by deception/identity theft incident police were called to at 1:57 p.m. April 22 on Mountain Road, Jackson Township.
She told police someone cashed six Citizens Bank checks using her personal banking information.
The checks amounted to $2,295.58.
• Police were called to a burglary at a residence on Colonial Court, Chestnuthill Township.
A 47-year-old man from Stroudsburg reported that between 9 a.m. Jan. 1 and 9 a.m. March 9 someone stole approximately $20,000 worth of copper wire and piping from the basement of his residence.
