The Lehighton Shade Tree Commission planted several trees in honor of Arbor Day. Lehighton Shade Tree Commission members pictured with the tree planted Sunday morning at the Lehighton Recreation Center are Scot Wingert, member, and Judy Wingert, president. Three hydrangeas and two Dwarf Chi-Chi Ginglos were planted Sunday morning at the Lehighton Recreation Center, 243 S. Eighth St. The group also replaced a Red Dogwood at the entrance of the Lehighton Cemetery entrance, along with some mulching.
