State police at Stroudsburg - crashes

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 2:47 p.m. April 2 on Route 611 in Hamilton Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Rachel L. Byrne, 35, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima and was attempting to enter the highway when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The Altima struck a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Logan C. Gervald, 24, of Dallas.

• Two vehicles were damaged in an incident around 2 p.m. March 16 on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said a 2020 Ford Transit was northbound when a falling tree struck it on the roof. The vehicle had minor damage to its roof and window but was towed from the scene.

Police said a 2015 Acura RDX that was traveling behind the Transit had minor front-end damage when it was struck by the tree. The Acura was driven from the scene.
