State police at Lehighton
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Two Kunkletown boys, ages 12 and 13, were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to an incident at 7:15 p.m. March 27.
Police said they were involved in a fight on Country View Lane, Eldred Township.
• Police responded to a reckless endangerment incident at 6:57 p.m. April 15 on Pine Hollow Drive, Mahoning Township.
A 31-year-old Lehighton woman reported a set of shots were heard from a neighboring house and a ricocheted round was found near her.
• Police responded to an identity theft reported at 11:19 a.m. April 8 on Sunset Way, Eldred Township.
An 81-year-old woman from Palmerton said a Verizon account was opened in her name. Police said the account was closed before police were notified.
• Police said a reported assault took place at 2:54 p.m. April 10 on the Fireline Road, Lower Towamensing Township.
No other information on the incident was provided by police.
• A 28-year-old Summit Hill woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after police made a traffic stop at 10:29 p.m. April 11.
She was stopped in a 2015 Hyundai Elantra on South First Street, Lehighton, and found in possession of the drugs. Police said she admitted to selling methamphetamine and had the suspected drug and packaging material.
• Police responded to a child custody complaint at 9:48 a.m. April 6 on Tartar Run Road, Towamensing Township.
It involved a 35-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man.
Police said the woman arrived at the residence to pick up their son as per a court order and the man refused to return the son. He was safely returned to her upon arrival of police.
• A 62-year-old woman on Stacia Way, Ross Township, told police she attempted to purchase two vehicles online and paid a suspect with a PNC Bank check but never received the vehicles.
• A 26-year-old man from Bethlehem is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. April 18.
He was stopped in a 2009 Mazda6 for multiple traffic violations on Route 248 in Franklin Township.
• Police responded to a theft from a motor vehicle report on White Street in Weissport.
A 59-year-old Jim Thorpe man told police that someone stole a wiring harness for a camper trailer from a motor vehicle.
The harness is valued at $1,500, police said.
• A 63-year-old Kunkletown woman is the victim of a criminal mischief incident police were called to at 9:06 p.m. April 2 on Chestnut Ridge Drive, Eldred Township.
She told police someone damaged the engine of her 2014 Jeep Wrangler.
• Jeremi Heimbach-Harmony, 19, of Tamaqua, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 9:14 p.m. April 5.
He was stopped in a 2015 Audi in the 900 block of Summer Mountain Road, East Penn Township.
• A 35-year-old man on Pioneer Road, Polk Township, reported an identity theft on March 24.
He told police a suspect obtained all personal information on him and downloaded spyware onto his computer.
The man lost $500 in the incident, police said.
• Police were called to a counterfeiting incident at the Dollar General Store, Interchange Road, Kresgeville, at 7 p.m. April 1.
They said three suspects paid for $1,300 worth of items with counterfeit money.
