The Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce’s 108th annual luncheon features special keynote speaker Mark Schweiker.
As Pennsylvania’s 44th governor, Schweiker is known for his steady leadership, commitment to economic development and deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our communities.
Having served as lieutenant governor, Schweiker stepped into the role of governor in 2001 to Jan. 21, 2003, when his predecessor, Tom Ridge, resigned to become Homeland Security adviser.
During this engaging program, Schweiker will share perspectives on leadership, resilience and the evolving landscape of business and workforce development, offering valuable takeaways for professionals across industries.
The signature event will also recognize outgoing chair of the board of directors, Savas Logothetides, and welcome incoming chair, Michelle Lewandowski.
The luncheon will be held May 1 at Mountain Valley Golf Course, 1021 Brockton Mountain Drive, Barnesville, and bring together business and nonprofit leaders, community partners and regional stakeholders for an afternoon celebrating the Chamber’s impact over the past year.
Reservations are required by Monday at schuylkillchamber.com.
