Northern Lehigh’s Addison Smith pitched a no-hitter and reached a strikeout milestone in a win against Saucon Valley on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Palmerton’s baseball team gained a walk-off win over Jim Thorpe.

Addison Smith pitched a no-hitter, and also registered her 200th-career strikeout as Northern Lehigh blanked Saucon Valley 8-0 in Colonial League action.
Smith walked four and struck out five during her memorable performance.
Kaylee Snyder finished with a single, double and triple for the winners. She scored twice and knocked in two runs.
The Bulldogs also received offensive support from Emily Gad (single, double, three runs), Kenzie Chruschial (two singles, RBI), Tegan Simms (double, triple, two runs, RBI) and Fiona Jones (two singles, run, RBI).

Palmerton cruised to a 13-1 Colonial League win over visiting Jim Thorpe.
Tessa Sander had two hits, one a double, and three runs for the Bombers, who scored in every inning. Jaylin Strohl chipped in with a pair of hits, one a double, two runs and an RBI.
Mackenzie Farber added two hits and an RBI.
For the Olympians, Madison Schwartz finished with a single, double and scored the team’s only run.

Dunstan blasted a grand slam in the second inning, and delivered a three-run double during an eight-run fourth inning.
Lizzie Diehl added a double and a triple, scored once and collected three RBIs.
The Indians Mia Myers had two of her team’s four hits.

Payton Faust earned the pitching win, allowing just one earned run while striking out 14 and walking one.
Teammates Ceanna Gormley (two singles, two runs, three RBIs) and Jasmine Eberts (two singles, run, two RBIs) both contributed to the win.
For the Raiders, Arianna Adams ended with two doubles, a single, a triple and two runs.

The Panthers only hit was a fourth-inning double by Janessa Prudente.

The Wreckers’ Raven Biles singled to left in the third inning to break up the no-hitter.
Olivia Hand led the way for the winners offensively, finishing with two hits, one a two-run homer. She also scored two runs and ended with four RBIs.

In a Colonial League clash, Jason Carelli’s walk-off double pushed Palmerton past Jim Thorpe, 6-5.
Carelli’s ground out in the second gave the Blue Bombers a 2-0 lead after Brady Reph rapped an RBI single in the first.
Jim Thorpe tallied four runs in the fourth on Noah Pastor’s single, Michale Antignani’s double, and sacrifice flies by Kaden Hess and Zack Murphy.
Palmerton retook the lead in the bottom of the fourth on Chase Wilson’s single.
Luke Matsko, Cameron Pengelly and Robbie George all had two hits for Palmerton, and Pastor had two for Thorpe.

Zachary Ziegler’s sacrifice fly put Saucon, which has won nine straight games, ahead 4-3 in the top of the fourth.
Northern Lehigh took a 2-1 lead in the home first on Avery Kabrick’s RBI ground out and Braedon Dougherty’s run-scoring single.
Parker Schaffer’s RBI single in the third tied the game at 3-3
Jayden Christman had a pair of hits for Northern Lehigh.

Easton jumped out to an early lead and held off Northwestern for an 11-6 victory.
The Rovers took a 5-1 first-quarter advantage and ended up scoring double digits for the 11th time this season.
Tyler Kaas had three goals for the Tigers, while Grayson Christman finished with two.
Trey Snyder added three assists.
